Thank you to all our Honeypot Santas!

Thank you for making a young carer’s Christmas!

Christmas at Honeypot is a big deal! Our Christmas dinners are legendary, and no winter trip to Honeypot is complete without a Christmas party. Most importantly, we send out a Christmas present to each and every Honeypot child. This year, thanks to all your kindness and hard work, we sent out a wonderful 1457 presents!

It’s a lot of work finding, wrapping and giving out all these presents to our young carers, and we couldn’t have done it without all your help. Here are some of the absolute stars who helped make this Christmas magical…

  • New Forest Rotary Club collected 631 shoeboxes from schools and colleges across the New Forest.
  • St Anne’s School delivered 325 shoeboxes delivered at the end of term, as well as their regular Honeypot stalls selling items to raise money for us!
  • St Swithun’s School in Winchester raised £95 plus 2 big sacks and a box of Christmas gifts
  • Durlston Court School sent 69 shoeboxes
  • Ladies that do Tea sent 70 Christmas presents
  • Ballard School sent 88 Christmas presents
  • Brockenhurst WI sent 25 presents
  • Beaulieu Village Shop sent 18 presents (sharks, starfish, chicks and cars!)
  • St Stephen’s CE Primary School, Kew Green Prep and ANZ Group for their generous donations
  • Sedulo Group Manchester for organising the donation of hundreds of presents
  • Everyone who donated Christmas wrapping paper
  • All the volunteers from around the country, including from JELF, who came and wrapped 1000 presents!
  • Everyone who generously donated in place of getting each other Christmas presents
  • Everyone who donated to our Christmas appeal

We’re truly in awe of your generosity – thank you so much to everyone who helped make a young carer’s Christmas.
