BrannFest 2023

On Saturday 10th June, Chris and Diana Brannigan hosted their annual music festival (BrannFest), from their back garden, with all proceeds this year being donated directly to Honeypot!

In keeping with this year’s Hawaiian theme, friends and family donned grass skirts and flowery shirts to get into the festival spirit.  BrannFest showcases upcoming local artists, and throughout the day festival-goers enjoyed performances from Munro, Miylah, Manni, John & Zeff Harris, Broken Bones, Permissible Mistakes and Jack Wood Guitar.

Honeypot’s Wellbeing Coordinator, Cathleen Dowding, (also Chris’s sister!) and Clare Adams, Pastoral Coordinator, represented the Charity and had several eager, young volunteers helping to sell Honeypot merchandise on the day.

Donations were also made for BrannFest 2023 festival wristbands and for chilled beverages (ale kindly donated by Remedy Oak Brewing Co.), which helped to keep everyone cool in the heat of the sun!

Ahead of the event, Customised Timber Artistry created a very special woodburning of a bee, to symbolise Honeypot, and on the day this was auctioned off and sold to the highest bidder, with the proceeds going directly to the charity.

All money raised on the day was donated to Honeypot through the Big Give initiative, this resulted in BrannFest 2023 raised an AMAZING total of just over £5,000!

A HUGE thank you from The Honeypot Children’s Charity to Chris and Diana, all those involved in the preparation of the day, the amazing musical performers and to everyone who attended, donated and supported the event, including Aeropark Developments Ltd.

If you have an event coming up and would like to involve Honeypot, why not get in touch with one of our amazing team members today!
