Honeypot House to House Cycle

16-1 9 July

The Honeypot House to House Cycle is back! Now in it’s third year, the 2026 event will cover 260 miles over 4 days from Honeypot Pen y Bryn in Wales to Honeypot House in the New Forest. There is also a 1 day option covering the last 40 miles from Salisbury. The route promises stunning scenery and is nearly entirely on backroads.

We will meet in Shrewsbury on the night of the 15th July and then, the next day, cycle to Honeypot Pen y Bryn in Wales for lunch and then on to Kington in the afternoon (we need to start in Shrewsbury as there is no easy hotel accommodation near Honeypot in Wales). On day 2 we go down to Chepstow and across the Severn Bridge to Tockington, just north of Bristol. Then on day 3 it’s on to Salisbury in Wiltshire, with day 4 entering the New Forest and the final push to a big welcome at Honeypot House near Beaulieu.

The ride is organised and guided throughout by an excellent specialist sponsored bike ride company called Pie Events. They transport our bags, organise all food en route, and provide full mechanical support and medical support. Accommodation is in 3 star hotels each night. We normally aim to start cycling at 9am, with stops every 2 hours, aiming to reach our overnight accommodation by 3-4pm each day. Pie can also help with getting your bike to the start and from the finish.

Day 1 - Thu 16 July:

Shrewsbury to Honeypot Pen y Bryn: 66 km  |  770m elevation

Honeypot Pen y Bryn to Kington: 53 km  |  730m elevation

Day 2 - Fri 17 July:

Kington to Tockington: 112 km  |  1,340m elevation

Day 3 - Sat 18 July:

Tockington to Salisbury: 122 km  | 1,280m elevation

Day 4 - Sun 19 July:

Salisbury to Honeypot House: 67 km  |  540m elevation

The registration fee covers all food and drink, 4 nights hotel accommodation, and expert guided support throughout the route. The fundraising target supports Honeypot’s work with young carers.

4 day cycle, 16-19 July: Registration fee £795 for shared hotel accommodation. Private rooms are available for an additional single supplement of £85 per night. Fundraising target: £2.500.

1 day cycle, 19 July: Registration fee £50 and a fundraising target of £500.
