Chelsea Garden at Honeypot

25 March 2026

The triple award-winning garden from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show has now found its permanent home at Honeypot Hampshire, creating a beautiful and lasting legacy for children to enjoy for years to come.

The Addleshaw Goddard Freedom to Flourish Garden, designed by Carey Garden Design Studio, captured national attention at the 2025 Flower Show - winning an RHS Chelsea Gold Medal, Small Garden of the Year and Best Construction (Small Show Garden).

Now, following its relocation, the garden has officially been opened at Honeypot Hampshire, where it will provide a peaceful, restorative space for the children who visit.

The relocation was made possible thanks to the dedication and hard work of many people. We are incredibly grateful to Carey Garden Design Studio, the team from Addleshaw Goddard, and a wonderful group of Honeypot volunteers who worked tirelessly to carefully re-create the garden at Honeypot.

A special opening event took place last week, attended by Addleshaw Goddard, Honeypot staff and the volunteers who helped make it happen. The celebration included speeches and an opportunity to experience the garden in its new setting - no longer a temporary showpiece, but a living, breathing space designed to support health and wellbeing.

“We are delighted to see the Addleshaw Goddard: Freedom to Flourish Garden in its permanent new home at Honeypot, where it will offer an oasis of calm for the young carers Honeypot supports. The ethos of the garden’s design was to create a place of calm and respite and so it feels appropriate that it will become a lasting space to rest, play and relax.” Aster Crawshaw | Addleshaw Goddard

Originally created to reflect the calming power of nature and the importance of slowing down, the garden is perfectly aligned with Honeypot’s mission to give the children we support the chance to relax, recharge and enjoy carefree moments away from their responsibilities.

Set within the grounds of Honeypot Hampshire, the garden will now play a central role in our residential breaks, offering children a tranquil space to connect with nature, build friendships and simply be children.

The relocation also highlights a growing focus within the Chelsea Flower Show on sustainability and legacy - ensuring that gardens continue to have a meaningful impact long after the event itself. Rather than the garden being dismantled after the show, it has been thoughtfully rehomed - transforming a moment of national recognition into something with enduring value for all the children we support.

This garden is a powerful symbol of the partnership between Honeypot and Addleshaw Goddard, who has been a headline corporate partner and long-standing supporter of the charity.

"We are incredibly grateful to Addleshaw Goddard for their continued support and for creating such a meaningful and lasting legacy for Honeypot. The Freedom to Flourish Garden is more than just a beautiful space - it is a place where our children can pause, reflect and enjoy moments of calm and joy during their time with us. This garden will be enjoyed by so many children for years to come and stands as a wonderful symbol of what this partnership has achieved together.” Simmi Woodwal | Honeypot CEO

For the children who come to stay at Honeypot, the garden will become part of their experience - a place to unwind, play, reflect and make happy memories. What began as a show garden seen by thousands will now quietly support the wellbeing of many children who need it most - every single day.
