Trusts & Foundations

Grants from Trusts and Foundations form the largest and most sustainable source of income at Honeypot, and we are hugely grateful for every donation we receive. Honeypot relies on the generosity of multi-year donors, with regular givers playing a critical role in helping us to plan for and deliver the long-term, impactful services which transform the lives of young carers.

Our wrap-aound service is designed to alleviate social isolation, reduce stress and anxiety, turn around poor confidence and low self-esteem, and reverse educational underperformance. Unrestricted grants allow us to direct funding where it is most needed. But if your organisation prefers to fund specific projects, we have a range of services available:

• Respite Breaks at one of our beautiful houses in Hampshire, Powys, or East Ayrshire, giving young carers some much-needed, protected time to play, explore and socialise.

• Health & Wellbeing Breaks, setting children on the path to educational success through in-school sessions, along with a residential break.

• Wellbeing Fund ensuring young carers from deprived backgrounds can access life essentials.

• Facilitate capital works and refurbishment across our sites, keeping houses fresh and fit for purpose.

Honeypot values the experience and expertise that our Trust and Foundation donors can bring to our work, and we are eager to work closely with you to create mutually beneficial partnerships. We are committed to clarity, transparency and regular reporting across all of our funding relationships.
