Bikers gear up for Bumble Blast

27 April 2026

Motorcyclists from across the UK are being invited to saddle up for the Bumble Blast, a brand-new charity ride offering a full day of great roads, stunning scenery and shared riding, all while raising vital funds for The Honeypot Children’s Charity.

Taking place in the heart of the New Forest in Hampshire, this 100 mile group ride offers bikers the chance to experience some of the region’s most beautiful routes, riding alongside others who share a love of two wheels and a desire to make a difference.

The New Forest is also home to Honeypot Hampshire, one of Honeypot’s three residential houses across the UK, where the charity provides vital, life changing breaks for young carers and children aged 5 to 12 who are facing difficult circumstances. Every mile ridden helps give these children the chance to rest, feel safe and simply be children again.

“Young carers give so much of themselves every day, often missing out on the simple joys of childhood. The Bumble Blast is a great excuse to get out on the bike, enjoy some brilliant roads and do something really worthwhile at the same time. I hope it becomes a standout day for riders and helps introduce people to the incredible impact Honeypot has on children’s lives.” Richard Houseago | Honeypot Trustee and event founder

Along the route, riders will stop at the legendary Sammy Miller MBE Motorcycle Museum, with all Bumble Blast participants receiving free entry on the day. Home to one of the world’s finest motorcycle collections, the museum adds an extra highlight to what promises to be a memorable ride-out.

The Bumble Blast has been created to bring the biking community together for a relaxed, well-organised group experience, combining the simple joy of riding with the chance to make a real difference. Funds raised will support Honeypot’s work with young carers and children aged 5 to 12, many of whom take on adult responsibilities far beyond their years.

Money raised will help fund Respite Breaks, Health and Wellbeing Breaks and ongoing wraparound support, giving children precious time away from stress, the chance to build confidence, and the opportunity to enjoy the childhood experiences they are missing out on.

“This ride captures everything we value at Honeypot, bringing people together, having fun and supporting children who need it most. Holding the Bumble Blast so close to our Honeypot Hampshire house makes it especially meaningful, linking the ride directly to where our support happens. We’re incredibly grateful to Richard and excited to welcome riders for what will be a special day.” Simmi Woodwal | Honeypot CEO

Riders of all backgrounds, experience levels and bike types are welcome to take part, whether riding solo or alongside friends. Participants are also encouraged to spread the word and invite fellow bikers to join the ride.
