Honeypot Dalleagles

New Cumnock | East Ayrshire

Honeypot Dalleagles is our third house, opened in 2023 in the beautiful countryside of East Ayrshire. It welcomes children from Scotland and the Borders.

The house has a fabulous library filled with books, and often hosts reading sessions with local authors. The views of the stunning countryside from the bedrooms are breathtaking, with a large kitchen perfect for baking treats, plus the yummy apples from our apple trees that are growing in the front garden!

Like our other two houses, Dalleagles has a learning space for Health & Wellbeing Breaks and a large playground with lots of exciting things to climb on and run around. The children enjoy lots of activities, including basketball, go-karts, skateboarding and cycling. Located just 20 miles from the coast, the local area also offers many opportunities for fun days out and exploring.

Operations

Manager

After twenty years in professional sport and sport in the community, my new chapter sees me as Operations Manager for Honeypot’s Scotland house. I'm delighted to be working for a very progressive charity that is committed to making a real difference to children and creating long lasting memories. Dalleagles is a fantastic place and I'm looking forward to welcoming staff and young people to Honeypot.

Children's Services

Leader

I have a passion for empowering children and amplifying their voices. I love creating magical respite weekends filled with fun and creativity. I believe that every child's perspective matters and strive to ensure that all young people feel heard and valued. I love the great outdoors and I enjoy leading creative challenges that encourage self-expression and teamwork in nature. I also bring unique experiences like sound baths, helping young carers relax, rejuvenate, and connect with themselves and each other. I aim to foster a supportive community where young carers can take a break, share their stories, and build lasting friendships.

With over 25 years’ experience working with children, young people and their wider family units, my entire working career has been devoted to supporting, encouraging and inspiring others to create lasting relationships and positive changes to the lives or young people and their families. I feel privileged to be given the opportunity to work alongside a team who have children at the heart of all they do, whilst creating lasting memories.

Lorraine Robson

Children's Services

Leader

I joined the Honeypot Team at the beginning of 2025. My aim is to tailor break plans that will create lifetime memories and enhance essential lifeskills for all our young carers that come to Honeypot House. To witness the excitement, hear the laughter and watch the children be kids is always the team's goal, there is so much satisfaction in knowing that you have helped achieve this.

Children's Services

Leader

I've been part of the team since 2024, where we create a safe space where young carers feel seen, understood, and valued. The difference our service makes is real - from helping them build friendships and resilience, to giving them a break from their caring roles so they can just be kids. From arts and crafts to days out, baking and so much more, each break is as unique as the children that come through our doors.
