Ask for Support

We work with children between 5 and 12 years of age, who are young carers or vulnerable children. This means they either have a significant caring responsibility for a loved one at home, or live in an area of extreme deprivation or are at risk of harm or abuse.

Our Safeguarding Policy.

In order to be supported by Honeypot, each child needs a referral from a child care professional. This can be a teacher, doctor, social worker or police officer. We have a special form which needs to be filled in, and sent back to us. You can ask for a form by calling the number below.

Once we have received a completed form, we will carry out a home visit with the child to find out about their likes, dislikes, and how we can support them best.

If you know a young carer or a vulnerable child who you think would benefit from our support, please get in touch with us.

If you’re based in London, the South West or South East of England, you can call our Children’s Services team at Honeypot House Hampshire on 02380 890 002.

Key Questions
What is your Safeguarding Policy? Our Safeguarding Policy is available to view at the link above or here:
What happens to the relative of the young carer who needs care during a respite break? We will always try to reach out to social services, relatives or family friends to arrange proper care whilst the young carer is away. Just so they don’t have to worry, they’ll often ring home before bed while at Honeypot House to check their relative is doing okay.
