Why not become one of our new virtual fundraising groups?

Joining a local fundraising group is a really great way to raise funds for Honeypot while also meeting new people and having lots of fun.  But we’re asking you to join up with a twist – why not do your fundraising virtually for now?

We are looking to recruit volunteers to be part of our new and fantastic fundraising groups network which will help raise vital funds for our young carers. You will play an important role by organising fundraising events and activities within your local community.

Our groups will act as ambassadors, helping to spread the word about the work of Honeypot and encouraging and supporting local people, clubs and organisations to fundraise for us too.

All across the UK in recent weeks, we have seen tremendous community spirit, effort and support shown to those that are the most vulnerable  – why not get involved and help us be there for our young carers?

If you’re interested, just fill in the form below and we’ll be in touch for a chat!

Volunteers are absolutely vital to our service. Put very simply, without them, we couldn’t exist. We have lots of volunteering opportunities available throughout the year. Below are some ways in which you could help us – please bear in mind that due to the COVID-19 crisis many of our volunteer positions will be on hold, but we’re still looking for virtual fundraising volunteers!

Events volunteer

We hold a number of events throughout the year, from fun runs to fashion shows, and we are always looking out for people to come along and help us on the day. Whether you are cheering on runners or managing a stall we couldn’t organise these events without the help of volunteers.

It’s a fantastic way to get involved with the charity, see our fundraisers doing inspiring things and hopefully have fun at the same time!

Regional volunteer

As a small charity, the support volunteers give us in their own communities is invaluable. We are looking to build a network of volunteers to represent us in their local area and to raise awareness of Honeypot and the amazing children we support. There may be opportunities to support people fundraising for us, attend events, or help us thank members of the public for their amazing support.

Regional volunteers are integral to what we do and making sure people enjoy working with us. It’s a role with lots of variety and a great way to see the wonderful things people are doing in your area.

Start a volunteer group

If you’re thinking of volunteering with Honeypot, why not get your friends involved too?! You could start a group, get together once every couple of months and think of ways you could raise awareness of the charity or raise money for us. We can put you in touch with other volunteers in your area and if you ask around you might be surprised how many people would like to be involved. Groups not only make volunteering more fun, they also give you more opportunities to be creative, get out there and raise awareness of Honeypot.

This is a simple and brilliant way to help raise awareness of Honeypot and raise some money for us at the same time. If you can spare a few hours then please just let us know and we can apply for permission for you to collect in a local supermarket or town centre. We will provide you with a t-shirt, collection tin, and everything you need so please get in touch!
