RBC Blue Bay Get Green for Honeypot!

RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) Blue Bay have been supporting The Honeypot Children’s Charity for many years, last week some amazing vounteers headed to Honeypot House Hampshire to help out on on-site team!

The green day began with a brilliant tour from our Hampshire Community Fundriaser, Viv. She ran through how the house is used from Respite to Educational Booster Breaks, showing the many amazing facilites Honeypot has that help to make happy memories from basketball courts to a craft studio.

RBC brought so much energy and passion, no task was too difficult, thank you for all your hardwork!
— Georgina, Senior Corporate Partnerships

We had wonderful feedback from all members of the team, everyone really enjoyed getting stuck in and feeling like they could help to make a difference. Visiting Honeypot House for me has added a deeper layer of connection to the charity; all the stories about the young carers helped by Honeypot are really brought to life.
— Ria, RBC

Some of the volunteers had helped at Honeypot House before, ‘We really enjoyed coming onsite last time and want to still support Honeypot in anyway we can!’.

Thank you RBC Bluebay for all your help!

The team’s first task was clearing the den area, a favourite with many of the young carers.

It has now been organised so it is safe for the children to come and play!

Vicky one of our Honeypot team members sat with us at lunch at shared insights into working with the children and some inspiring stories! In the afternoon RBC helped with weeding, cleaning and laying down the woodchip!

Thank you RBC Blue Bay for all your hard work! You have been an amazing help to our onsite team!
