Our Radio 4 Appeal

A massive thank you to everyone who donated to our Radio 4 Appeal, it aired three times in the last few weeks of September and the response we have recieved from new and current donors has been phenomenal!

If you have been supporting Honeypot for a while you may remember Jaiden, now aged 17, he is a young carer from Croydon, London. From early childhood he dedicated his life to looking after his Mother, Sheila. Honeypot supported Jaiden throughout his childhood making many happy childhood memories and building a brighter future.

Jaiden now dreams of becoming an actor, he was the perfect candidate to present our BBC Radio 4 appeal and did an amazing job! If you missed it you can listen here.

We have managed to raise an incredible £83,277 through your donations and The Betty Messenger Foundation matching pot!

I heard Jaiden on the Radio 4 appeal and was looking for a meaningful charity to donate our change bucket to. I feel all children need time to laugh and play. Honeypot sounds like a wonderful outlet for the children.

I heard about Honeypot on the Radio 4 appeal. My husband and I decided we really wanted to help young carers as they do an amazing selfless job.
