Building brighter futures for children
who need extra support to thrive
The Honeypot Children’s Charity provides tailored support for children aged 5-12 who are experiencing challenging circumstances. This may include young carers, children struggling with social or emotional challenges, or those affected by loss, instability, or trauma.
Our early intervention programmes help children to build confidence, resilience and joy, regardless of the barriers they face. We provide residential breaks, health and wellbeing programmes, and wrap-round support for children experiencing significant pressure in their lives.
How We Help
Ellie
Ellie is a young carer for her Mum, who has limited mobility and suffers several seizures a day. She helps with personal tasks and household responsibilities well beyond her years. Honeypot gives Ellie regular breaks from the stress of her caring role.
Taylor & Amy
Taylor and his sister Amy are living with their mum in a refuge, while they wait for a permanent home where they can feel safe and settled. Respite breaks at Honeypot and special days out have given them space away from this difficult environment.
Jack
Jack was being bullied at school and struggling to make friends, which was severely affecting his wellbeing and education. By helping to build his confidence and learn valuable coping skills, Jack is now happier, more resilient and finally enjoying school.
