Blooming lovely! Honeypot at the Chelsea Flower Show
We are thrilled to announce that the award winning Addleshaw Goddard ‘Freedom to Flourish Garden’, designed by Carey Garden Design Studio, will soon be part of our Honeypot House in Hampshire. This stunning garden, made from natural materials, swept the board at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show by winning an RHS Chelsea gold medal, the Small Garden of the Year and Best Construction (Small Show Garden) awards. It champions the mental health benefits of living an unhurried lifestyle and spending time in nature. The garden invites you to stop and rest and reflects nature’s quiet call to slow down amidst the rising tide of life’s business.
Some of our young carers, Honeypot volunteers, and even Bumble, attended the Chelsea Flower Show, enjoying the garden under the sunny skies.
At The Honeypot Children’s Charity, we believe in giving young carers a much-needed break from their daily responsibilities. Our houses across England, Scotland, and Wales provide a safe space for young carers aged 5-12 to relax, recharge, and make lasting memories among nature.
Addleshaw Goddard are one of Honeypot’s headline corporate partners. As part of their ongoing partnership they have kindly offered to relocate the garden to Honeypot House so that it can continue to be enjoyed by young carers. By integrating this beautiful garden into the grounds at Honeypot House, we aim to create a sanctuary that promotes mental well-being and encourages our young carers to take a break. We are excited to see the positive impact this garden will have on the lives of the children we support when it is installed later in the year.
“We are delighted that our garden is being relocated after the show to Honeypot, our charity partner, where it will become an oasis of calm for young carers at Honeypot House, their respite home in Hampshire.”
