House to House Cycle 2025

On June 29th, 12 incredible cyclists set off for the 500 mile journey from our Dalleagles House in Ayrshire to our Honeypot House in Hampshire, to raise vital funds and awareness for young carers aged 5-12.

Following the incredible success of last year's cycle journey from Hampshire to Wales, this year's event promises to be even more challenging. Led by John Pocock, The Honeypot Children’s Charity Patrons’ Club Chair, a dedicated team of 12 cyclists will embark on this challenging journey. While some participants will ride shorter routes, one cyclist Travis is even bringing his famous cat Sigrid along for the adventure!

We are proud to be raising money for The Honeypot Children’s Charity again, this time by cycling from their children’s respite home in South Ayrshire down to their respite home in the New Forest. This will be a serious 500 mile challenge of strength, saddle soreness and tackling whatever the British weather throws at us.

It is the knowledge that every £250 we can raise will give a young carer a better future. This is why we do it.
— John Pocock, Chair of the Honeypot Patrons' Club

the route

The cyclists will be following a route from Ayrshire to Hampshire across an 8 day period, with 4 day and 1 day routes options available. Example route shown below.

This charity cycle is not just about the miles covered but about the impact it will have on the lives of young carers. Your contributions and encouragement for these fantastic cyclists could help to provide the vital support that young carers really need.

Join us in supporting these incredible riders as they pedal to make a difference.
